As we were leaving California, Chico and I stopped by to see Jimbo and his dog Buddy one more time. Buddy is bigger than Chico and Chico can be nervous around Buddy. Buddy has started having seizures and everyone is a little nervous around Buddy these days. When we got to Jimbo’s house, Chico declined to get out of the car and instead spent most of the afternoon in his crate in the car. The door was open, he could have gotten out anytime he wanted, but he just decided to remove himself from an uncomfortable situation. Is that a smart dog, or what?
