After all the Standard runs, the course builders (yay for volunteers!) cleared away the contact obstacles (A-Frame, Dogwalk, Teeter), and the tire, and the trial moved on into Jumpers runs. In Jumpers, we were competing at the Excellent level* and it was, again, pretty overwhelming. And, because of that, I failed to notice that Chico missed obstacle number two (at this level, that eliminated us from qualifying) , then we experienced possibly the slowest weave poles ever, but after that, it was a nice run, at a dignified (though not class wining) pace. Which was actually just fine for my sore hip, thank you very much.
Here’s the run:

* I learned not long ago that just because we have three qualifying runs at the Open level, we don’t have to move up to Excellent. I can stay at Open until I feel we’re both ready to move on. What a relief.
